GYAKIE

Gyakie is an Afro-Soul/Afro Fusion singer from Ghana. 

In February 2019, she released her first single titled "Love Is Pretty" and after just a few months, she released her single known as "Never Like This", her most successful piece of work to date. Gyakie is a talented singer and songwriter whose transparency makes it clear that she draws her artistic inspiration from genuine moments of extreme emotion and experience of people around her. She currently has no strong public affiliation with any other artist and maintains a mystical impression to her persona which allows people to focus on her music.

Asa is one of Gyakie's major musical influencers; as well as Ghanaian artists like Efya. Gyakie believes that African music is a global sound and wants to use her ability to write and also sing as a way to help shape the culture and show it's versatility.
