In 1998, she released her first studio album, Let There Be Eve ... Ruff Ryder's First Lady, which made her the first female rapper to have an album ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Eve's third album, Eve-Olution, was released in August 2002 and reached number six on the Billboard 200.

At the same time, the album's first single, Gangsta Lovin ', starring Alicia Keys, became a second hit.

Eve-Olution is certified gold with sales of 720,000 copies, making this album the least profitable in Eve's career.

In 2005, she participated in several tracks on Dr Dre's album, Detox, including the one with The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, That's What It Is.

In March 2010, Eve was featured on the official remix of Ludacris' song My Chick Bad, along with Diamond and Trina.

In November 2010, Eve released her single Who's That Girl, which reached No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified quadruple platinum.

In December 2010, Eve took part in Alicia Keys' song Speechless which reached 71st place in the American R&B charts.
