A true icon of his generation, Davido released his first album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012. Album featuring the title that made him known in Africa, song with which he began to arouse interest : Dami Duro.

In 2013, he announced the release of his second which will be released two years later with the title The Baddest. However, promotional singles such as "Aye", "Skelewu" takes him even further in the music. The title "Skelewu" peaked at number 1 out of Afribiz's 100 paintings. His dance is a hit and is adopted in the choreography of several other artists.

The Nigerian pop star, released in June 2015, "Mi Fans" with Meek Mill.

Internationally recognized like big stars, Davido has received several awards such as Best Male Artist 2014 and Artist of the Year at the MTV African Music Award, Best New Artist 2012 at the Kora. He even received a BET award and an MTV Europe Music Award nomination.
